Event Description
THIS PROGRAM WILL TAKE PLACE AT MULTIPLE LOCATIONS IN THE COMMUNITY; IN ORDER TO ATTEND, TEENS MUST HAVE AN ADULT WITH THEM TO PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION.
IT IS ALSO STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT ANY PARTICIPANTS HAVE AT LEAST ONE DRIVER AND ONE NAVIGATOR PER VEHICLE FOR SAFETY'S SAKE.
This summer, dig into the adventure of geocaching! We'll teach you the app at the library and walk you through everything you need to know to find your first cache. Then we'll send you out to explore and hunt down as many treasures as you can find in nearby locations. At the end of the time, return to the library to share your discoveries, swap stories, and celebrate what you unearthed! Open to teens and adults, solo or with friends. Participants will drive themselves to cache locations. Smartphones required; please do not look at your phone while driving. Although you will not be out in the heat for long, please dress appropriately for the weather, wear sunscreen, and bring water.
So that we have a way to contact you and know how many to expect, please register each participant, maximum 5 participants per registration, and provide a phone (text) number for your group.
