Program Description

Event Description

Attending parachute playtime is an excellent way to help children build social skills and engage in physical activity! Children will have the opportunity to practice skills such as following directions, socializing with others, building vocabulary, and engaging in big body play that uses large and dynamic movement. Parachute play may be paired with props, songs, and books.

For this giant parachute play we will have multiple parachutes going at once.  This will allow us to separate groups by age to ensure that peer groups stay together.  If you have two children, we will typically have them with the younger of the two ages unless you are confident they can follow directions and stay on task without your assistance.  This is typically only possible on parachute for the 4 and 5 year olds.

This will be the same plan as the Giant Parachute Play on June 7th, but you are welcome to attend this Saturday one too.
