Program Description

Event Description

Interested in learning more about agriculture in Oklahoma? This take-home kit can introduce kids ages 4-10 to several of Oklahoma's cash crops and includes information about their history in the state and their role in agriculture today. This kit will have everything you need to sprout several kinds of seeds in your home, including peanuts, clover, and cotton. Compare and contrast how plants germinate and grow over weeks. These plants can also be transferred to larger pots or the ground outside.

Registration is open from 4/15–4/21. Pick up 4/22–4/29. Only 1 kit per family. Happy planting!
