Program Description
Event Description
Celebrate Hina Matsuri, also known as Girls’ Day in Japan, with this fun and colorful take-home craft. In Japan, families display special dolls each year on March 3 to wish for health and happiness. This kit lets you make your own paper versions of the traditional emperor and empress dolls.
Color the kimono outfits using washable markers, then cut out and assemble the dolls. You can follow the example patterns or create your own designs. This craft is easy for younger kids and still enjoyable for teens who like art, coloring, and learning about different cultures.
