This practical, beginner-friendly course is designed for adults interested in starting or maintaining a small backyard flock for egg production. You'll gain the knowledge and confidence to care for chickens responsibly and sustainably, whether you're in a rural area or navigating the challenges of an urban or suburban setting.

We’ll cover everything you need to know, including breed selection, coop setup and maintenance, feeding and nutrition, daily care routines, and egg handling. You’ll also learn how to keep your flock healthy and safe throughout the seasons, troubleshoot common issues, and understand local regulations and best practices.
