Event Description

Celebrate MARDI GRAS with us and enjoy New Orleans-style Dixieland jazz and the smooth sounds of traditional jazz on Saturday, February 17. Back by popular demand, 9 members of the Classic Swing Big Band from our September concert will combine ragtime, blues, gospel and military brass, along with "collective improvisation" to get your toes tappin' to some Fat Tuesday tunes. The Classic Jazz Combo (and their larger Classic Swing Big Band) is a dedicated group of volunteer musicians of all ages sharing the desire to keep swing and jazz music alive and well.  They encourage students and gather new fans by finding the best, most FUN arrangements possible. They play for nursing homes, senior centers and all kinds of special events, like this one for the Edmond community!  

NO REGISTRATION is required, and ALL AGES are welcome!
