Clare Westmacott’s grandmother lived in Cologne (Kӧln) Germany during World War II.  Cologne was the recipient of 262 Allied bombing raids, the worst, “Operation Millennium” in 1942, consisted of 1000 bombers.  The diary of Clare Westmacott’s grandmother, Klara Mehlich Seuffert share what the citizens of Cologne experienced between 1940 and 1944.  This take-home kit provides historical and pictorial background to complement her diary.

Kits may be picked up at the Southern Oaks Library at the Circulation Desk beginning March 20, 2024 through March 27, 2024.
