Event Description

Learn about Oklahoma's amazing assortment of native plants and how they can be used in home landscapes. You will get an introduction to the major groups of native plants, learn their uses and benefits, and get an introduction to planning your garden. Whether you are trying to reduce your water usage, build healthy soil, feed pollinators and other wildlife, or simply add beauty and interest to your yard there is a native plant to fit your needs!

After the class make sure to check out gardening tools to get started on your garden at home!

This class will be led by Joshua Kouri, Urban Soil Health Specialist, with the Oklahoma County Conservation District.
