Event Description

Join us as we kick off Banned Books Week with a celebration of the modern classic The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton. We will have 60s music, trivia, refreshments, and a talk by OKC University professor Tracy Floreani on the importance of both The Outsiders and the freedom to read! 

After the library closes join us over at Full Circle Bookstore at 6PM for a reading marathon of The Outsiders. Local community leaders will do a read aloud of the text from cover to cover!
