Event Description

Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month by exploring Chigiri-e, a traditional Japanese art form that uses hand-torn paper to create soft, textured images. Instead of cutting paper with scissors, participants tear colorful washi-style paper to form landscapes, flowers, animals, and more.  Embrace the beauty of natural edges and layered color.
