BRANCH CLOSURE:

The Harrah Library will be closed for updates from 4/13 - 5/5. 

  • Holds will be available for pickup at the Harrah Senior Center, M-F 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. 
  • Library items can be returned to the bookdrop at the Harrah Library, the Senior Center, or any other Metropolitan Library location.

Event Description

This 6 week interactive class works with parents to build a toolbox full of education, tips, tricks, and strategies for supportive parenting. 

Topics Include: 

  • Learning the “why” behind a child’s behavior
  • Exploring different parenting styles
  • Developing family connections
  • How to correct your child with responsive parenting
  • Creating consequences that work for your family
  • Maintaining progress through rituals and routines
