Program Description

Event Description

Power Hack is here at the library for the summer. Get a taste of our school-year coding club with this special Minecraft-themed Hour of Code.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Power Hack is for ages 9+ only.

The Minecraft coding adventure is a block-code based adventure. More advanced hackers can be introduced to our regular coding software which allows for advanced block coding, Javascript, Python and HTML learning.

Registration is for students who need to use library devices. Participants are encouraged to bring their own devices. Library device users may be asked to share with another hacker. If your hacker has their own device, they may attend this event without registering. We will cap attendance on a first-come, first-served basis if the room fills to capacity.

Adults will be asked to stay for the first few minutes of class to help their hackers get enrolled into our club programs and set up their accounts.
