Program Description

Event Description

Come join us as we turn simple-looking paper strips into beautiful art by paper quilling. Paper quilling involves rolling, looping, curling and shaping paper strips and then combining them to create designs. Quilling is not just an art; it also helps with relaxation and hand-eye coordination. You will find it amazingly therapeutic to sit around the table with us and chat while we quill.

Our community group is for all quillers- beginners, experienced, or somewhere in between. We will have tools & supplies, along with a simple project, at each monthly meeting, so you can learn the basics and grow as a quiller. If you do have your own tools and supplies, please bring them and anything you're working on

This month we will be quilling a tree of life. The Tree has had varied meanings throughout history-- a connection between heaven and earth, the diversity of life on Earth, the cycle of life, etc. As you create your leaves for it, with five different quilling shapes, you will have time to decide what it symbolizes for you!

Registration required so we know how many to expect. Please register each participant individually.
