Event Description

At the Library, We Can Make Anything!

Artist Sarah Sullivan Sherrod paints directly on her own woven works, blending two art forms into something completely new.

Inspired by her creativity, kids are invited to explore combining materials in their own way! Bring an old t-shirt, ripped jeans, pillowcase from home, etc. and turn it into art by painting, Gelli printing, or both! Don’t have fabric to bring? No problem! Misprinted library tote bags will be available to use. Come see how two simple elements can become one amazing creation!
