Program Description

Event Description

Artist Sarah Sullivan Sherrod paints on her own weaving, combining two media to create a new piece. Kids and teens can explore combining two elements at the library. Young artists are encouraged to paint or Gelli print (or BOTH!) over a piece of fabric or clothing you bring from home. Old T-shirts, ripped jeans, pillowcases—anything you can imagine. Also available will be misprinted tote bags from the library. At the library, we can make anything.

This program is generously funded by Kirkpatrick Foundation in collaboration with Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center.
