Program Description

Event Description

Staying Active and Independent for Life (SAIL) is a fitness program for older adults, which can be done sitting or standing. Performing exercise that improves strength, balance or fitness is critical for staying active and reducing risk falls. The SAIL program was designed with these principles in mind. Each class includes warm-up, stretching, cardio, balance, and strengthening exercise, as well as cool down. This class meets twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday. To register please signup online, in the library, or call the Southern Oaks Library at (405) 631-4468.
This is a recurring event. If the class is full and you are interested in future classes, please put your name on the waiting list.

The workshop is sponsored by the Oklahoma Healthy Aging Initiative (OHAI).
