If you're interested in learning how to mend, or are looking to review the basics of hand sewing, this is the program for you! In Sewing and Visible Mending, you will get hands-on experience as we create a decorative coaster out of felt, one step at a time. We will be covering topics such as: how to plan a mending project, what materials to use, different techniques for attaching two pieces of fabric, and how to patch a hole using a darning stitch. All supplies will be provided, but please come with questions about your own clothing repair or mending projects! 16+
