Have a sewing machine but you're not sure how to use it successfully? Or are you wanting to learn to sew clothes, find a creative outlet, or just learn a new skill and don't know where to start? In this class for beginners, you will learn the parts of the machine, how to maintain the machine, and how to sew safely. You will learn about threading, bobbins, and stitch types. We will discuss what to look for when shopping for a new machine. We'll also discuss what to look for when shopping for a new machine.

Some machines and other accessories will be provided. Do you have a machine? If you do, feel free to bring it with you to class. This program is intended for teens and adults, it's designated for ages 13 years and older. Because machines and tables are limited, registration is required.
