Finding Balance: Embracing Hygge and Lagom for a More Intentional Life
Discover the art of contentment through two transformative Scandinavian philosophies: hygge (HOO-gah)—the Danish concept of cozy contentment and everyday comfort—and lagom (LAH-gom)—the Swedish principle of "just the right amount" and balanced living.
Learn the basics and then consider how you can weave these timeless ideas into any corner of your life: family, work, home, relationships, food, hobbies and daily routines. A decoupage craft designed to bring light in these grayer days of winter is included, along with a booklet of information on hygge and lagom, and related book recommendations.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by life's demands, seeking more meaning in your daily routines, or simply curious about these popular lifestyle concepts, this take and make kit will give you a solid introduction and suggestions on where to go next as you learn how "just enough" and "cozy togetherness" can transform the everyday into something extraordinary.
