Event Description

Rising 5th grade through rising 12th grade! Join us May 25th as we kick off Summer Reading with the Masquerade Murder Mystery!

It’s a night of glamour, mystery and intrigue as the hottest socialites from around the world dress up in their best for a masquerade unlike any other. The location: stunning Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana in Venice, Italy. But when an esteemed librarian is found dead in Sansovino’s Library, just steps away from where the masquerade is in full swing, the shadow of suspicion is cast on the masquerade guests. It’s up to the guests of the masquerade to unravel the clues and crack the codes to determine the identity of the killer, and decipher the reason WHY this seemingly innocent man was killed!

You may play as either a SUSPECT or as an INVESTIGATOR. Everyone who comes will be tasked with figuring out who committed the crime. Suspects have the additional job of playing one of the guests that may be guilty and will take on that role to answer the questions of other suspects and investigators. If you would like to play a suspect in the mystery, please check your registration email for more information.
