Program Description

Event Description

You read to a therapy dog when you were younger and wished you had one just like it. But what does it take to find and train a therapy dog? Join us for this special panel with the therapy dogs and their trainers learning what it's REALLY like to train and handle one of these amazing animals.

This program is for teens (12+) and adults who are interested in learning more about training a therapy dog of their own. NO younger children will be permitted in the room, even with an adult. Teens and adults will have the opportunity to spend some time with the dogs; however, this is primarily an informational and Q&A session. NO PERSONAL PETS will be permitted.
