Program Description

Event Description

Having children is one of the most exciting and rewarding experiences we can have. However, it can also be overwhelming. Taking care of your physical health is important, and just as important is your mental health.  Let’s talk about how to plan for preparing for setting yourself up for support after your new baby is here, learning about the benefits of breastfeeding, and exploring the complicated relationship between breastfeeding and mental health.

Lead in conjunction with the OK State Department of Health and the Coalition of Oklahoma Breastfeeding Advocates.

All family types welcome. Children will be provided with coloring sheets or other easy toys, and we will have plenty of room for strollers.

Registration is encouraged, but not required.
