Program Description

Event Description

Start the New Year with intention, clarity, and a little bit of magic. Join us for a reflective writing program where you’ll craft a personal letter to your future self, one you won’t read until 2027.

During this guided session, we’ll help you slow down and step into a thoughtful mindset. You’ll explore where you are right now, what you hope to grow into, and what messages you’d want your future self to remember. Whether you write about goals, gratitude, challenges, or dreams, this letter becomes a time capsule of who you are today.

Once completed, each letter will be sealed and safely stored by the library until January 2027, when it will be returned to you. Future-you will get to look back, smile, and see how far you’ve come.

What to expect:

  • Gentle prompts for reflection and future-oriented thinking
  • Cozy, supportive writing environment
  • All supplies included
  • Optional decorating station for envelopes and letters
