Our teen volunteer program squad presents a series of fun, interactive children's programs for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) learning! This week's focus: Science!

Thermal vents and polar ice caps may not be where you’d like to live but some animals find them to be jusssttt right!

Like making slime? Come create ooey-gooey slime at the Choctaw Library. Children will learn the science behind slime while experimenting with several different slime recipes to take home.

Want to be a better reader? Simply read! Reading for just 20 minutes a day is guaranteed to improve your reading skills.  Children will read one-on-one with volunteers and play word games. We can help your reading score soar!

Northwest teens! Have your voice heard! Advise the teen librarian on topics of importance to you, help plan teen programming, participate in service projects, and earn service hours. Volunteer application required to participate.

Nothing says summer like wildflowers! Embrace your inner guerilla gardener and join us in making seed bombs. We will learn about some native Oklahoma wildflowers and what conditions they prefer.

Put on your pajamas and grab your favorite stuffed friend! We will enjoy stories, songs, rhymes, and an occasional craft, so come join the fun! This is a recurring event and takes place on Mondays.
