Our teen volunteer program squad presents a series of fun, interactive children's programs for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) learning! This week's focus: Technology!

Try your hand at Impressionist painting! Join an OKCMOA teaching artist to learn about the summer exhibition Van Gogh, Monet, Degas: The Mellon Collection of French Art from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.

Want to be a better reader? Simply read! Reading for just 20 minutes a day is guaranteed to improve your reading skills. Children will read one-on-one with volunteers and play word games. We can help your reading score soar!

Northwest teens! Have your voice heard! Advise the teen librarian on topics of importance to you, help plan teen programming, participate in service projects, and earn service hours. Volunteer application required to participate.

Eeek! It’s a monster—BOT! He wiggles, he scribbles, and he looks however you want him to! Engineer a friendly (or scary) monster of your own that is limited only by your imagination!

Come play with puppets and friends. Enjoy a time of music, movement, crafts and stories. This program is best suited for students who can follow basic song movements and listen to slightly longer stories. Suggested ages 3-6.

Bored? Hang out with us at the library. Each Monday, we'll have some type of teen activity. It could be robotics and coding, arts and crafts, music, theatre, writing, or something else entirely!
