Come have a Novel Time at Southern Oaks!

This is an ANY BOOK book-club!

Playing with your baby or toddler is not only important for bonding but is also an educational experience for your child. We are providing a special time for you to come to the library and spend one-on-one time playing with your little one.

Do you love cozy mysteries? Find your favorite new author and share your favorites with other members. This month's delightful selection is, Tea & Treachery by Vicki Delany, or read any title from the series.

Join us every other Monday for an array of after-school activities. School-aged children and teens only!

Learn the basics of English in this class made possible by Community Literacy Centers. This introductory level class meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00-8:00pm. 

The Intermediate Tai Chi class teaches participants ways to improve their overall mind, body and spirit through a series of slow continuous movements. Beginners Tai Chi or previous Tia Chi experience is helpful.

Join us for a different STEAM activity each Tuesday! All ages welcome!

Exercise while having fun! Let's learn to line dance at the library. Enjoy a social activity, and get great exercise. No experience necessary. Please wear comfortable shoes.

Practice makes perfect in sports, and the same is true in school. Join us on Wednesdays to practice reading with a volunteer or get help with your homework.

Frida Kahlo was a Mexican artist who blended classical and folk art to create colorful and powerful works of art exploring Mexican society. Join us at the Southern Oaks Library for a fun Frida Kahlo themed coloring-crafting hour to celebrate

Bring your own project and materials and knit, crochet, or sew your way through the afternoon with members of the community who share your enthusiasm for crafts. All types of fiber arts welcome!
