Join us every week for Tots Thursdays! Each week is filled with exciting activities designed to stimulate your child’s development while having a blast! Every month, we rotate through four themes:

Teens, join us and make your own fidget spinner from epoxy resin! Participants will need to return after 24 hours to pick up their finished craft.

Whether you've never wielded a paintbrush before or you're an accomplished artist already, join us to learn about a new artist each month and complete a project based on their work.

Celebrate our nation's vets with us as we create patriotic keychains using Perler beads! We will provide the supplies and designs and you can have fun!

Come crochet with us! All skill levels welcome. We will be making pumpkins for the fall. Kits available while supplies last. One kit per person. 

Do you love painting, drawing, sculpting, or just being creative? Then join us on the 2nd Friday of every month at 2PM to learn about a new art method or material!

Do you enjoy knitting, crocheting or any other type of fiber arts? Then come join us every third Saturday of the month.

In honor of Native American Heritage Month, come learn about traditional basketry from members of the Choctaw Nation and create your own basket to take home.

Join us in the Children’s Area as we read a story together and make a fun craft inspired by a book! This drop-in program is perfect for families with young children who love stories, creativity, and quality time.

Get ready to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Oklahoma’s iconic Route 66 by creating your own hand-painted rocks inspired by the “Mother Road”!

Choctaw Nation is hosting a pottery workshop here at Southern Oaks Library on in celebration of Native American Heritage Month. Register now to experience Choctaw artforms. 

Bring your own quilting or other project and get a chance to work on it with like-minded people. They'll even offer advice if asked. Be sure to check out a quilting book from our collection!
