ABOUT This Panel

The Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game is about storytelling in worlds of swords and sorcery. Like games of make-believe, D&D is driven by imagination. It’s about picturing a crumbling castle in a darkening forest and imagining how a fantasy adventurer might react to the challenges that scene presents. If you're new to D&D or want to start learning more about the rules of the game, we walk through a few of the introductory concepts as well as help guide you to further information.

ABOUT This Panel

What does diversity mean in today's comic books? In this GeekCon @ Home panel, Oklahoma comic creators, Natasha Alterici (best known for the hit queer Viking fantasy "Heathen"), Jerry Bennett (Illustrator, currently drawing "Glamorella's Daughter"), Charles Martin (Creative director of Literati Press Comics & Novels and co-creator of "Glamorella's Daughter" and "We Promised Utopia"), Shelby Soto (Afro-Latina artist currently working on a scifi superhero webtoon "S. Project") along with Blue Turtle Comics (Oklahoma based comic publishing company focusing on Native American and Oklahoma themed comic books) discuss the current landscape of comics and the importance of representation and inclusion in comics and graphic novels.
