The Ronald J. Norick Downtown Library will open at 12pm on Saturday, April 25 and 2:30pm on Sunday, April 26, due to the Memorial Marathon.

The Podcast Room (Almonte)

Podcast Room reservations are free and can be booked up to 2 hours, up to 7 days in advance.

Please review the MLS Studios User Agreement, which must be signed before using the equipment.

***If you need Librarian assistance in the Podcast Room during your reservation time, please fill out this form ahead of your reservation.***

You may have only 1 active makerspace reservation per person or group at a time, and you must finish a reservation before booking a new one.

Equipment

The following equipment is available in the Podcast Room at the Almonte Library:

  • Mac computer with Audacity software
  • Isolation filter with stand
  • Integrated audio production studio
  • Podcasting microphone
  • Studio headphones
  • Keyboard instrument with stand
  • Acoustic guitars (one right-handed and one left-handed)
