MLS Spirit Week

About Spirit Week

With Halloween coming up during a difficult time in our history, we want to spread a little happiness and celebrate the season with a Halloween “spirit” week! Join us on social media for a socially distanced week of Halloween fun. Post a picture each day (or a day of your choosing) with the hashtag #MetroLibrarysGotSpirit. We will share your pictures in our story to spread a little happiness. Don’t be afraid to get creative and, as always, don’t be afraid to get literary.

  • Sunday, Oct. 25 – Orange & Black Day
  • Monday, Oct. 26 – Stripe Day
  • Tuesday, Oct. 27 – Sports Day
  • Wednesday, Oct. 28 – If I was on vacation, I’d wear..... (Since many have had to skip vacation this year, dress to indicate where you might have gone ie: I LOVE NYC t-shirt or a Hawaiian lei, etc)
  • Thursday, Oct. 29 – Literary theme / book character / adopt a book or other Halloween costume
  • Friday, Oct. 30 - Mask / PPE decorating or other Halloween costume
  • Saturday, Oct. 31 – In memorial of your favorite dead famous person or other Halloween costume

Show us your spirit!
