About 1-2-3 Play with Me
Playing with your baby or toddler is not only important for bonding but is also an educational experience for your child. We are providing a special time for you to come to the library and spend one-on-one time playing with your little one. A different community resource professional will be available each week to answer your parenting questions during playtime. Playtime will be followed by a short storytime just for you and your baby.
Importance of Play
Playing is important for health brain development. Playing allows children to use their creativity while developing their imagination, dexterity, and strength (physical, cognitive, and emotional). It is through play, children at a very early age engage and interact with the world around them. 1-2-3 Play with Me will help you engage in play with your child through multiple different avenues.
