Event Description
Join us for this informative presentation-- part of a series of programs that inform and support individuals, families, & communities impacted by Alzheimer's disease.
This program explores the experience of the caregiver-- the person (or people) providing support for an individual experiencing Alzheimer's or dementia.
It will discuss the role of the caregiver and the changes they themselves may experience.
It will also explore the great importance of seeking support during the intense experience of caregiving, how the caregiver can build a support team, and how the caregiver can manage the stress that comes with their role.
This presentation is part of the Alzheimer's & Dementia Education Program Series, sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association Oklahoma Chapter.
