Join us for a special author visit from Dr. Thahn Van Anderson and Bruce M. Baker. They will be discussing the book Faith Through Trial: A True Story of Hope and Survival. The book is the life story of Dr. Anderson starting with her childhood in North Vietnam during the end of the French occupation to her immigration to the United States where she became an educator and advocate for LEP (Limited English Proficient) students. The story chronicles her life and her mission as an advocate for students and tells how she survived two bouts of cancer after her retirement. Discussion and book signing will follow.
