Program Description
Event Description
This is a semester-long class for teens and tweens to learn guitar! No music experience is required, AND instruments will be provided by the library. Students will learn popular and classical music in a supportive and encouraging environment. Students will be expected to attend class every week for the full semester (August 15th-December 12th). Class will be held every Tuesday at 6 PM at the Warr Acres Library (except there will be no classes on October 10th and November 21st). Space is limited! Please do not register if you are unable to attend class on a regular basis. The full dates are listed below.
- Week One: August 15th
- Week Two: August 22nd
- Week Three: August 29th
- Week Four: September 5th
- Week Five: September 12th
- Week Six: September 19th
- Week Seven: September 26th
- Week Eight: October 3rd
- Week Nine: NO CLASS - October 10th
- Week Ten: October 17th
- Week Eleven: October 24th
- Week Twelve: October 31st - Wear a costume! Dress like a rock star! We'll play electric guitars and experiment with spooky sound effects.
- Week Thirteen: November 7th
- Week Fourteen: November 14th
- Week Fifteen: NO CLASS - Thanksgiving Break - November 21st
