Program Description

Event Description

We are recognizing Black History month which is observed from February 1st through March 1st.  During this month we recognize the culture, history, and achievements of black Americans and their central role in this nation's story.

Book kits will be made available this week for elementary and teen ages.  These kits will be composed of a single non-fiction or fiction book selection which will help you learn more about black history and the black experience to promote greater understanding and empathy.  Additional recommended reading lists and a bookmark will also be included.  A limited number of kits will be made available each day through the week.

Kits do not require registration and are available while supplies last.

Disclaimer(s)

We can only guarantee one kit per household and per registration (if required).
