Event Description

Join us at the library for a chance to read to a loving therapy dog. Reading to dogs allows children to practice literacy skills in an encouraging, non-judgmental environment.

Sign up for a time slot when you arrive and complete fun activities while you wait to meet a precious pooch. Each reading slot is 10-15 minutes. If all of the slots aren't filled, you might get to read twice! Pre-registration is encouraged but not required. Aimed at ages 5-11 but younger or older kiddos are welcome.

Street parking is free on the weekends downtown.
