Program Description

Event Description

Join us every Wednesday in June for a GREAT DESERT ISLAND Adventure! Through a series of five STEM challenges, you will help a shipwrecked traveler survive and get back to civilization. You are welcome to attend ANY week or ALL weeks. This activity is best suited to gradeschool children and tweens ages 5-12; please sign up INDIVIDUALLY.

Our SECOND challenge will be to find a way for our lone survivor, Sir Harley Houndstooth III, to cross a lagoon to a grove of fruit trees.

Be sure to check out the library's collection of books or databases to learn more about crocodiles and recipes with fresh fruit!
