National Poetry Month is a special occasion that celebrates poets integral role in our culture and celebrates the joy, expressiveness, and delight of poetry. Haiku is a form of Japanese poetry made of short, unrhymed lines that typically evoke natural imagery. Visit Almonte's creation station to be inspired to create an original work. Display yours by April 30th to enter the competition. Almonte staff will vote for their favorite three who will receive poetry related prizes!
