Event Description

Margret and H.A. Rey, the author and illustrator of numerous Curious George books were Jews that fled Germany prior to World War II. After arriving in America they became citizens through the naturalization process. We are celebrating their many contributions to American literature during Jewish-American Heritage Month with a kit that will create a "flying" kite as seen in "Curious George Flies a Kite" and a newspaper boat as seen in "Curious George Rides a Bike".

You will need glue and tape to complete these projects. All other supplies will be provided.
