Program Description

Event Description

Gabrielle Reyes, with Black Soil Urban Farm, will teach about herbal teas and their health benefits. She will highlight Red Drink (hibiscus tea) and its significance in Juneteenth celebrations. Red drink samples will be provided for the class.

Gabrielle Reyes is a mother of one handsome and cheerful son, a community worker and partner with The Exotic Culture Movement, and a certified holistic nutritionist, Master Herbalist, Master Gardener, Urban farmer, and second-year horticulture student. Gabrielle’s love and passion for nature and gardening started with helping her grandmother in the garden as a young child.
