Program Description

Event Description

In this program, long-time snake enthusiast and expert, Larry Daniel, invites the audience to engage in an open discussion about snakes. He shares information about snake safety; snake anatomy and physiology; what snakes do and do not make good pets, and also how to care for a pet snake! And in honor of this year's Summer Reading theme, "Unearth A Story" - which is all about dinosaurs, paleontology, and archaeology - Larry will also touch on the titanoboa: the largest known snake species to ever live!

Each presentation with Larry is different because the discussion is guided by your participation and your questions! At the end, audience members get a chance to touch or hold a snake!
