Program Description

Event Description

With families spread out all over the globe, it’s time we get creative about how we preserve our family histories and leave an intentional and meaningful legacy for generations to come. What better way to celebrate Grandparents' Day on September 10 than to find ways to write down or record your wisdom, knowledge and experience? Chester Weems of the Territory Tellers will provide examples of how he collects and shares family stories and will get you started on developing a timeline for your personal memoir.

**This is one of many events happening for LitFest 2023, which runs Aug 19 - Sept 23. For a full list of programs, visit: www.metrolibrary.org/litfest
