Event Description

Join Metro Library & OETA for a special MOLLY OF DENALI™ Family & Community Learning Workshop. This is a series of four engaging workshops around the PBS KIDS program MOLLY OF DENALI.

Molly of Denali is an award-winning animated PBS KIDS series that follows the adventures of curious and resourceful 10-year-old Molly Mabray, an Alaska Native girl who lives in the fictional village of Qyah, Alaska. Molly of Denali is the first nationally distributed children's series to feature a Native American and Alaska Native lead character.

Molly recently visited a museum about Alaska and Alaska Native people and learned a lot about her community. She is excited that you are going to create a museum about your community too! Each of the 4 sessions takes 90-120 minutes and food is provided! Space is limited to 8 families, so please register soon. Multigenerational family members are welcome to attend!

*If you register for this event and are unable to attend, please let us know so that another family can enjoy this wonderful resource.
