Event Description

Hello Fellow Movie Lovers! Welcome to Southern Oaks first-ever Movie Club. Each month we will be gathering around to discuss movies. Watch a little too. Also, TV Shows; they count. ;)
In October we will be discussing our favorite Monster Movies! We will be featuring Love and Monsters a PG-13 film directed by Michael Matthews. The movie follows the life of Joel, a teen falling in love. Joel is just discovering love when the world ends. Now the world is crawling with monster bugs but where did his love go? Joel is played by star Dylan O'Brien. (He played in the Maze Runner Series in 2014)
Find out what this imaginative monster world looks like and how love-stricken Joel fits in.
Be part of our discussion about the movie and monsters in the cinema. Because we love a good monster!
Each household that signs up will receive a movie kit that includes a movie(s), movie review form, and a sealed popcorn. I will be playing short parts of the movie so we can discuss it during the Zoom meeting on October 13th starting at 6:15pm. All are welcomed. Any monster movie your watch is great for this event. Because the Love and Monsters movie is PG 13, anyone younger will need a parent permission and present to attend.
