Program Description

Event Description

Snapology provides interactive STEM / STEAM programs for children featuring technology and/or popular building toys (such as LEGO® bricks and K’Nex® toys).

In Snapology's Space Ways Robotics, children explore the basics of robotics while digging into their favorite parts of the Star Wars movies - the machines! While working with a partner to complete various challenges, children are taught how to effectively utilize sensors, how different mechanical components work in their robots, and how programming is a challenging but rewarding skill that they can master with just a little practice. In this class, taken from the full 8-week curriculum, students will build a robotic hand--a "handy" machine to have if you lose your real hand in a lightsaber duel!

Please register each child INDIVIDUALLY!
