April is National Poetry Month, so be sure to join us for a special speaker! We'll have a workshop, "Finding Your Voice: A Poet’s Journey to Self Expression" a transformative workshop designed to guide participants through the exploration and discovery of their unique poetic voice. Discuss how to use poetic devices to accomplish a distinct voice, then explore how to use those techniques or others to form your own voice for self expression. They'll be time to share some poetry. Open Mic Poetry Night. Are you an amateur, a seasoned poet, or somewhere in between and looking for someplace to express your talent? Local poets have an opportunity to read their own work or just sit and listen to the work of other budding poets. This is a recurring event and takes place on the last Monday of each month.
