Event Description

Build A Support System With People Who Understand

Alzheimer's Association Support groups, conducted by trained facilitators, are a safe place for caregivers, family and friends of persons with dementia to:
Exchange practical information on caregiving challenges and possible solutions. Discuss issues and ways of coping; share feelings, needs and concerns. Caring for someone with Alzheimer’s disease can present many challenges and take a significant toll on a caregiver’s health. A support group can provide the assistance and reassurance you need to manage stress and take time for your own much-needed care. Learn about community resources and print and electronic resources available at the library.

This is a recurring event and meets the third Thursday of each month.
