Celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month with us as we spotlight community voices.



Join us for our Author Talk with Award Winning author Linda Sue Park. Linda Sue Park is the author of many books for young readers, including the 2002 Newbery Medal winner A SINGLE SHARD and the NYTimes bestseller A LONG WALK TO WATER. Her works include PRAIRIE LOTUS, a historical fiction middle-grade novel; GURPLE & PREEN, a picture book illustrated by Debbie Ridpath Ohi; and her most recent novel THE ONE THING YOU’D SAVE, a collection of linked poems set in a classroom. The daughter of Korean immigrants, Linda Sue grew up in Illinois, and has traveled widely to promote books and reading.
