Program Description

Event Description

We are recognizing Black History month which is observed from February 1st through March 1st.  During this month we recognize the culture, history, and achievements of black Americans and their central role in this nation's story.

This Build & Learn kit is for ages 5 and under.  In it children will learn more about the achievements and stories of black Americans through age appropriate puzzles and coloring sheets which include facts about black leaders.  These are excellent hands-on activities that help them learn more about the heritage of our nation.

Kits are limited to ONE per FAMILY. Kits can be picked up at Northwest Library from Tuesday, February 1st, through Saturday, February 5th. Registered customers must pick up kits by Saturday at 5:00 PM or call the library at (405) 231-8650 to make alternate pick up arrangements, as any remaining kits will be made available to waitlisted customers on Sunday.
