Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, is almost here! This American holiday, observed annually on June 19th, commemorates the emancipation of the last remaining enslaved African Americans in Texas.

It's summer time!! Bring back all those summer camp vibes with this super awesome craft. Directions and supplies will be included.

Celebrate Pride with a DIY colorful Pride Flag garland! This kit will contain all the supplies needed to create a colorful flag garland that celebrates the many different kinds of people in the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

This is a take home kit for ages 5 and up. Kit contains the supplies to make a decorated paper butterfly. Young children will need adult supervision and assistance.

Celebrate Juneteenth 2024 with a Suncatcher take home kit! You'll use tissue paper and contact paper to create a suncatcher to hang in your window all summer long.

Find the national park posters around the adult and teen sections to collect a prize at the reference desk!

If you're in the mood for adventure, then reach for the high frontier!  This take home craft contains supplies and instructions needed to construct a craft rocket.  Blast off for imaginary places!

Cut, fold, and tape colorful cardstock to create a mini photo album that explodes from a box when you untie the ribbon and remove the lid. Personalize the inside with your own memories, messages or mementos.

This kit includes all the materials needed to craft your binoculars, along with a list of fun nature items to find. Ideal for explorers ages 8 - 11, it's a hands-on way to enhance your outdoor experience and discover the world around you.
